EFT and Healing at all levels

Healing can be hard when your inner child wants love, your teenage self wants revenge, and your present self wants peace. – A wise person.

The good news is with a tool like tapping, we can send love to our inner child, calm our teenage self and bring peace to our present self, so that healing can be safe, gentle, and easy.

As we begin to heal the roots of the presenting issue using tapping along with voicing our emotions, and acknowledging our bodily sensations, we free the inner child, the teenage self and find peace, calm, and hope in the present moment. By healing these parts, we break free from the debilitating patterns that keep us stuck from achieving emotional freedom.

This month I created a series of tapping videos on “Creating peace around money”. I was inspired to create this series as I got a request from one of my subscribers to make a video on attracting abundance. Here is the first video for you:

The power and simplicity of EFT

This week I chose to write about two testimonials that I received from my clients about EFT.

Two of my clients over the last few months wrote to me about sharing EFT Tapping with someone they met during their flight journey.

The first experience shared by my client was teaching tapping to a woman who was very sad because she missed her flight to her destination and the next flight was only the next day. She was worried because of the long wait. My client mentioned in her email to me- I somehow pulled my guts and taught her tapping and she felt a lot better. Twenty minutes later, my client noticed that she was continuing to tap on her own. She sent a short video of this beautiful woman tapping and the first thing I noticed was as she was tapping, she was breathing better by taking deep sighs and releasing the stuck energy.

The second experience was from another client, who had an extreme fear of flying and tapping helped her overcome her fears and now she is very comfortable flying across the globe taking long flights. In her words, “It’s kind of unbelievable that I would be this comfortable to fly. Thanks to tapping.” Now comes the interesting part-my client helping another beautiful woman who traveled with her on this long flight and shared about something that she has been going through for some time. My client said in her email that they were talking about energy and healing and so she shared about how tapping helped her. She also taught her the basic recipe in tapping. This woman tapped on her own during the entire flight and sent a message to my client that she was already feeling 80 percent better than she was at the beginning of the journey. She also mentioned that she was able to make a wonderful positive decision on an issue that felt like a burden in her heart.

Such is the power of this simple yet profound healing modality. When we clear the stuck energy in our system, we open ourselves to infinite possibilities, opportunities and miracles in our life.

EFT and The Basic Recipe

This week I chose to write about the Basic Recipe used in EFT. As I continue to learn through workshops and training in EFT, I always come back to the basic recipe because of its simplicity and ease of use yet yielding profound shifts in neutralizing the intensity of the issue. All of us want to move to a better feeling place as fast as we can, and the basic recipe can help us achieve that in a few minutes. It is also very helpful when we want to tap on our own for an issue.

The basic recipe also helps us to get out of our own way and let the tapping do the work for us.

EFT Tapping for Procrastination

This week I chose to write about using tapping to release, overcome and eliminate procrastination. I was inspired to write about procrastination because I have been procrastinating on writing this newsletter. I have used tapping many times in the past to eliminate the fear that kept me stuck from taking action, especially after I got certified as a practitioner.

EFT for Procrastination by Gloria Arenson is a great book to read if you want more inspiration to take action using EFT. This book was one of the required readings to get certified as an EFT Practitioner. If you have never used tapping for procrastination, I encourage you to try tapping. You will be surprised to see how moving the stuck energy can help you move towards your goals.

April is autism awareness month

April has been a busy month for me as I was focusing on creating content. To honor neurodiversity and autism, I posted a series of videos the entire month on my YouTube channel.

This entire series has been created with the intention of educating, inspiring, and empowering anyone watching the video, beginning with myself first. I have featured the talents of individuals on the autism spectrum along with some interviews. If you know someone in your life who can benefit from these videos, please share my YouTube channel or this newsletter with them.

As I was putting together all these videos, I was able to appreciate all the content creators who make a difference in the world through reading, writing, blogging, making videos and podcasts and in so many other ways. I also realized that anything created out of inspiration may not even feel like work, because you are enjoying the whole process.

There is a lot of talk about acceptance and awareness on social media and also in a few of my interviews. I was actually thinking about what we mean by acceptance and how it looks like when it comes to autism.

As I continue to experience this journey with my son, I recognize all the denial, heartache, grief, and disappointment that I experienced and how it has taken several years for me to heal these emotions. I still continue to heal as this is a lifelong journey. As a caregiver I remember all the dark areas, and the difficulties I had showing up with a new identity as a parent of a child with autism. I recognize all the non-acceptance and the resistance I experienced within myself. As I began tapping and releasing the heavy emotional baggage and stuck energy that I had been carrying for a very long time I experienced acceptance within myself first. When I accepted my new identity, I experienced acceptance everywhere I went with my son.

So, here is something to consider for all of us: Every time we expect acceptance, in other words, seeking external validation, it’s a great idea to go deep within us, and give ourselves permission to love and accept ourselves first. This can have a positive influence on our energy and the people around us.
